Go Live from Anywhere with Makito ONE, Falkon X4, and CellLink 5G
Making their European debut at IBC2026, Makito ONE and Falkon X4 showcased Haivision’s latest innovations for high-quality, ultra-low latency live video contribution.
Winning the TVTech Best of Show Awards, Makito ONE combines dual-channel encoding and decoding in a flexible platform supporting 4K and HD video, H.264, HEVC, and JPEG XS, as well as SDI and SMPTE ST 2110.

Falkon X4 mobile video transmitter brings together four integrated 5G modems with Haivision’s cellular bonding technology for reliable transmission across 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and LEO satellite networks. Adding to Haivision’s award-winning product ecosystem, the Falkon X4 brought home the TVBEurope Best of Show Award.

Also introduced at IBC2026 was CellLink 5G, Haivision’s external cellular bonding modem and antenna array. Compatible with Haivision’s mobile transmitters and Makito ONE, CellLink 5G adds bonded cellular connectivity for greater resiliency, redundancy, and flexibility in challenging production environments.
With the new external bonding solution, Makito ONE becomes the first device of its kind to leverage cellular connectivity for live video contribution, all from a single hardware blade.
Breakthrough Innovations
JPEG XS Encoding and Decoding on the Makito ONE
One of the more exciting product developments at Haivision is that the Makito ONE features expanded multi-codec support, including JPEG XS. We demonstrated our JPEG XS encoding and decoding at IBC, showcasing visually lossless compression with sub-frame latency. JPEG XS is built for high-end sports remote production, where camera feeds cross managed IP networks and need frame-accurate sync and consistent color, especially for live switching, replay, and referee review.
AI-Powered Device Management in Haivision Hub 360
Haivision also showed off new AI-powered device management in Haivision Hub 360, which can assist and streamline setup, monitoring, and optimization for video encoders, transmitters, and gateways from within a single cloud control environment. This technology demonstration showed how teams managing lots of devices at once, such as newsgathering crews without dedicated broadcast engineers, or sports productions juggling large device fleets, can save time and improve workflow efficiency during live productions.
Building Better Workflows Through Powerful Partnerships
At IBC2026, we teamed up with several industry leaders to demonstrate new possibilities for remote and distributed live production. Together, these collaborations show how Haivision is helping broadcasters simplify live production workflows while giving teams greater flexibility in how and where they can produce live content.
Riedel Communications – Private 5G Video Contribution
Haivision teamed up with Riedel Communications to demonstrate ultra-low latency mobile video workflows over private 5G. The joint demo paired Haivision’s Falkon mobile transmitter and MoJoPro camera app with Riedel’s Easy5G private network and Haivision’s StreamHub receiver, delivering broadcast-quality 4K UHD/HD video contribution with end-to-end latency under 100 milliseconds.
As Haivision’s Chief Strategy Officer, Peter Maag, put it, “We’re delivering a seamless, end-to-end workflow that sets a new standard for what broadcasters can expect from mobile contribution.” The demo ran live at both companies’ IBC2026 stands, giving attendees a hands-on look at what fully wireless, low-latency broadcast production can look like.
Chyron – Simplifying Camera-to-Cloud Workflows
We launched our official technology partnership with Chyron to help simplify camera-to-cloud live production through an integrated workflow between Haivision’s live video contribution ecosystem and Chyron LIVE, the cloud native solution for vision mixing, broadcast-grade graphics, data display, remote commentary, and illustrated replay.

The combined solution streamlines live production workflows while delivering the performance, reliability, and ease of use required for professional broadcasting. Demos highlighted how the seamless workflow enables secure, low latency live video contribution into Chyron LIVE for sports, news, and live events broadcasting.
Chyron’s senior vice president of product, Nikole McStanley commented: “Broadcasters are increasingly looking for flexible, cloud-native production workflows that simplify live content acquisition. Together with Haivision, we’re enabling customers to bring high-quality live video into Chyron LIVE more efficiently, giving production teams greater flexibility to produce live content from anywhere with ease.”
EVS – Real-Time Robotic Camera Control
EVS and Haivision revealed a first-of-its-kind 5G workflow that combined bonded cellular video transmission with real-time robotic camera control. By combining EVS’s unified robotic controller, Choreon, with Haivision’s 5G video contribution technology, the live demonstration connected IBC Amsterdam with EVS headquarters in Liège, proving broadcasters can operate precision robotics with broadcast-grade reliability from virtually anywhere.
The live demonstration showed real-time control of EVS T-Motion robotic cameras, including pan, tilt, and zoom adjustments, using the Haivision Pro460 5G video transmitter, Haivision StreamHub receiver, and EVS Choreon. The workflow highlighted how Haivision’s bonded cellular and 5G contribution technologies worked with EVS robotic camera systems to deliver broadcast-grade reliability for long-distance remote operation of motorized production assets.
Benoit Dentan, Vice President, T-Motion Robotics Solution, at EVS noted: “By integrating our Choreon robotic controller with Haivision’s 5G video contribution technology, we’re proving that broadcasters can operate precision robotics from virtually anywhere with the responsiveness they expect in live environments. It’s a major step toward fully connected, automated production workflows that scale across studios, venues, and continents.”
Cyanview – Advanced Camera Control with Falkon X4
We also announced our new partnership with Cyanview, bringing professional camera control directly to the Falkon X4 mobile video transmitter.
By embedding Cyanview’s RIO technology directly into the Falkon X4, broadcasters can now access live video transmission, intercom, video return, tally, and advanced camera control in a single integrated solution. This collaboration simplifies remote production workflows by reducing the need for equipment, cabling, and complex setups while delivering professional camera control features required for live sports, news, and event productions.
CEO of Cyanview, David Bourgeois commented: “Cyanview’s mission has always been to make camera control universal, flexible, and accessible. Integrating RIO into Haivision Falkon X4 brings our ecosystem directly into the heart of remote production, ensuring customers benefit from seamless workflows and long-term compatibility with the cameras they rely on.”
Accelerating the Future of 5G
We also announced our participation in the IBC Accelerator Media Innovation Programme project – Network Control: Your Connection, Your Choice – alongside private 5G mobile network provider Neutral Wireless.
The initiative explores how programmable 5G networks and standardized network APIs can give live production applications greater control over connectivity and Quality of Service. As cellular networks become an increasingly important part of live production, these technologies could help make 5G connectivity more predictable and reliable.
