Designed to meet the stringent security requirements of operation centers and control rooms, the Makito FX 4K encoder securely streams mission-critical video for quick decision making.
The latest release of the Makito FX adds support for a wide range of computer output resolutions, enabling users to encode native HDMI, DisplayPort (model-dependent), or DVI (via HDMI adapter) outputs while preserving pristine quality video, which is ideal for detailed content like spreadsheets or high-resolution geospatial imagery.
Alongside this update, we’ve introduced a new hardware model of the Makito FX which includes DisplayPort input and loop-out, unlocking new opportunities in command center, simulation, and training environments. With this, users can directly connect their Makito FX to DisplayPort video sources, like workstations, without needing any adapters. The loop-out feature enables the same DisplayPort signal to be sent to an external monitor for local viewing while simultaneously streaming. This eliminates the need for external splitters and simplifies the setup for users who want to monitor their video source locally while streaming it.
