MONTREAL, CANADA — April 7, 2015 — Haivision, the enterprise video technology company, announced continued momentum in Latin America with a strategic partnership with systems integration company Videodata.

Headquartered in São Paulo, Videodata is a leading system integrator and equipment supplier to the Brazilian broadcast, production, telecommunications, and government markets, serving organizations like Embratel, Telefonica, TV Globo, Globosat, Sky, Sesc, TV Cultura, EBC, STF and TV Senado. Working closely with Videodata, Haivision will provide video streaming solutions to Brazil’s top broadcasters and enterprises, helping them deliver video content to the right audience, no matter where they are.

Haivision’s growth in the region is also highlighted by new customer wins in Latin America, including Canal 13, CEMEX, Embraer, Jockey Club Rio de Janeiro, Mauell Biffinger, Televisa and TV Globo, and increased channel and sales support from Haivision personnel based in Brazil. Latin America’s unique infrastructure and bandwidth limitations pose a number of challenges for the region’s broadcasters and enterprises. Haivision’s low-latency and Internet-optimized video solutions are designed to navigate and overcome any network challenges that organizations might face when distributing video over private networks or the Internet.

“Videodata has an excellent track record of bringing together the best technologies and solutions to the region’s broadcasters and enterprises,” said Chance Mason, executive vice president, global commercial sales at Haivision. “We’ve seen tremendous growth in Latin America over the last year with a number of new customers, and this strategic partnership will extend our reach into the market in Brazil.”

“We’re looking forward to this partnership. Haivision’s expertise in providing high quality and low-latency video solutions for the media, television and corporate markets seamlessly supports Videodata’s commitment and mission in providing the best solutions to our customers,” said Rosalvo Carvalho, Diretor Geral, Videodata.

Haivision customers, partners and executives will present at the Brazilian Society of Television Engineering (SET) conference at the NAB Show 2015 demonstrating how the company’s video solutions are helping global broadcasters more flexibly gather and distribute remote content at less cost for studio production environments. Haivision will also exhibit its media management and streaming solutions at the NAB Show at the Renaissance Hotel (Paramount Room, 2nd floor) from April 13-16.
