Account Executive – DACH

Germany, Austria or Switzerland (preferably in Germany)

Job Summary:

The Account Executive is responsible for representing Haivision’s technology portfolio in the DACH region. The Account Executive will work with other Account Executives based in EMEA.

 

Responsibilities

  • Overall account and client management within the DACH region.
  • Work with professional IT and networking integrators/resellers/partners to represent Haivision products within the networking, broadcast, AV, and enterprise industry.
  • Collaborate with clients and integrators/resellers/partners to develop regionally focused business plans.
  • Consult with the DACH lead of Sales to set up objectives, goals, strategy, and plan of action for the territory.
  • Develop, establish and maintain good working relationships with new and existing clients & partners.
  • Participate in internal and client-facing meetings, prepare reports and presentations.
  • Participate on international and regional trade-shows to represent the Haivision solutions as needed.
  • Provide pre-sales technical/architectural overview to partners and customers.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and business plans for the territory.
  • Participate in regular calls and meetings to help increase the territory’s business and foster the Haivision culture within the territory.
  • Become a Haivision brand champion, capable of demonstrating and explaining our to key decision makers.
  • Remain knowledgeable and current with industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets, including competitive information.
  • Establish long-term relationships with end-user clients, resellers, partners and integrators.

  • Strong sales background with experience of working in the industry
  • Superior verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Superior written communication skills
  • Experience selling to different levels of executives and technical buyers.
  • Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think “outside of the box”.
  • Superior organizational skills.
  • Attitude and motivation to accomplish objectives and close a deal.
  • German native speaker + fluency in English.
