SRT enables low latency streaming in the face of jitter, bandwidth fluctuations, and packet loss. For valuable or sensitive content, SRT also includes support for AES-128/256 encryption.

The Makito X4 Encoder embeds timestamps into outgoing streams which are used by the Makito X4 Decoder to ensure frame synchronization before outputting to SDI. The Stream Sync feature supports multi-camera remote production over IP networks, providing a cost-effective approach that can reduce the need for on-site resources.
