Job Summary:

The Account Manager is a hybrid role with both direct sales prospecting and closing responsibilities with their own individual quota as well as supporting Account Executives with opportunity and account management. This role will be assigned accounts within the North American Broadcast Territory. They will work closely with the Account Executives within the region to provide exceptional customer satisfaction while driving new revenue.

Responsibilities

40% – Outbound Sales & Prospecting efforts 40% – Inbound Sales efforts 20% – Support of Account Executives
  • Call on and work with end customers and partners to represent Haivision products within the broadcast industry.
  • Utilize the Outreach.io sales automation platform and multiple contact channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.) to reach out to customer prospects to generate net-new sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop focused sales plans for the territories.
  • Develop, establish and maintain good working relationships with new and existing clients inside the territory.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts for the region.
  • Participate in weekly sales team calls and meetings to help increase business and foster the Haivision culture within geographic region.
  • Become a Haivision brand champion, capable of demonstrating and explaining our products at least at a high-level to prospects.
  • Drive opportunities under $25k from open to closed.
  • Discover and Qualify opportunities greater than $25k for Account Executives
  • Work closely with internal Haivision teams to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Travel 1-2x per quarter to internal team meetings or client sales calls.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience in outbound selling and/or account management,
  • Bachelor’s degree, or military service, or alternate demonstrable related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident with outbound selling.
  • Interest in working within the Broadcast industry.
  • Ability to competently describe technical product.
  • Ability to work well individually as well as within a team environment.
  • Have or able to obtain within 60 days of hiring a valid passport.
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) is a plus.
  • Previous account management or sales experience is a plus
