Job Summary:

This is an opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who has demonstrated they are able to execute projects, make an impact, and is a true change agent. Under the guidance of the Director Human Resources, the Sr. HR generalist will lead and execute talent acquisition/staffing. HR operation functions, create standard of procedures, and provide counselling of management team.


  • Recruit for open positions in North America and implement pro-active approaches pertaining to employee hiring and selection, and compensation in support of the goals and strategic objectives.
  • Drive the execution of HR-related projects and programs.
  • Well-versed in Employee benefits in Canada and local laws.
  • Introduce SOPs where needed.
  • Ensure that data entry in HRIS is accurate and consistent.
  • Assist HR Director with performance management including annual performance reviews, new hire reviews and PIPs.
  • Assists in developing, delivering, and monitoring Performance Improvement Plans and addresses corrective action and conflict resolution.
  • Serve as a backup for various general HR activities.
  • Performs other assignments as directed.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluently Bilingual in French and English, speaking and writing.
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR projects with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information to different audiences.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues and risks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
