Senior Manager, Supply Chain

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, he/she will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. The Senior Manager of supply chain is directly responsible for the effectiveness and results of Haivision’s supply chain.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide inspiring and effective leadership to the supply chain group with a focus on meeting the organization’s objectives with respect to safety, quality, cost, timeliness, production and compliance
  • Drive process and product improvement programs and contribute to process excellence throughout the product life cycle
  • Ensure communication of key business and customer issues to employees
  • Lead the manufacturing and production of hardware and collaborate with the engineering hardware department on the release to manufacturing process
  • Pursue state of the art technology and processes for the continuous enhancement of product manufacturability to achieve best quality results
  • Interface with suppliers and vendors to ensure requirements are met on time, budget, and quality
  • Manages inventory replenishment by using forecasting tools to insure the product is on time to be assemble and delivered within the customer’s terms
  • Coordinate, manage and evaluate supply chain personnel
  • Develop and implement supply chain best practices, including systems integration and optimization, manufacturing, inventory control and demand planning

Professional and Personal Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a Supply Chain leadership position
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to manage and engage employees
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to organizational policies
  • Knowledge of the disciplines of Supply Chain management such as vendor management, inventory & cost control and manufacturing
  • Familiarity with manufacturing ISO policies and regulations
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both French and English
  • High level of autonomy and professionalism with ability to act on own initiative, exercise good judgment and manage expectations
  • Adaptability to interact at the highest levels of the company
