We are seeking a Sales Engineer specializing in Control Room and Operations Center solutions will be responsible for driving revenue by managing the pre-sales technical process and providing technical expertise and support to the sales team and clients. This role involves designing, specifying, and supporting mission-critical visualization systems tailored for control rooms and operations centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AV/IT, preferably with experience in control room environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into solutions that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities
- Own the technical design of Company solutions proposed to partners and customers.
- Become a Company technical evangelist, capable of demonstrating and explaining our products to both high-level decision makers and “deep dive” technical personnel.
- Assist Account Executives with overall account management within assigned accounts & territories
- Assist sales account managers with project management for complex presales engagements.
- Provide pre-sales technical/architectural support to partners and customers.
- Remain knowledgeable and current with industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets, including competitive information.
- Establish long-term relationships with resellers and integrators.
- Attend and assist with the setup and operation of technical systems at regional training and tradeshows.
- Provide support on-site and remote post-sale support when necessary.
- Produce technical documentation including but not limited to, specifications, drawings, network diagrams and cost estimates
- Comfortable with domestic travel, including occasional international travel when necessary.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years in a pre-sales engineering role in the AV/IT space or similar discipline.
- Experience in designing and implementing AV/IT systems for control rooms and operation centers, including video processing, video wall software, IP video, encoding and decoding technologies and advanced IP networks.
- Experience with the design and deployment of streaming media services across complex LAN/WAN topologies.
- Experience with network and computing security standards and best practices in government and commercial applications.
- Experience with the design and deployment of audio-visual systems and components that complement Company solutions.
- Some combination of experience in designing or managing of the following:
- Linux or Mac OSX server infrastructures
- Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory infrastructures
- Local and wide area networks (routing/switching, wireless LAN, firewall security).
- Experience troubleshooting video processors, network media streaming solutions and multicast video distribution.
- Familiarity with video compression technologies and real-time media transport protocols, such as MPEG-2 and MPEG-4/H.264, HEVC, RTP, MPEG2-TS, RTMP, HLS and MPEG-DASH.
- Ability to interpret and / or produce design documents including but not limited to specifications, single-line diagrams and network architecture diagrams
- Understanding of web development or scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or various command shells,
Highly Desireable:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CTS-D, CTS-I, CCNA, CCDP or equivalent.
- Identity and access management experience with authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms.
