Job Summary:

As a member of the Professional Services team, the Project Manager will be responsible for driving AV projects from the infrastructure phase through in-house build and configuration and onsite implementation and commissioning

The Project Manager will collaborate regularly with the customer and Haivision internal teams on all aspects of the project including scope, timeline, and technical challenges to successfully deliver projects on time and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all activities associated with the timely, accurate, and successful completion of the project, including engaging stakeholders, delegating responsibilities clearly, and running client and internal project meetings.
  • Create, direct, and implement project plans for in-house staging and onsite installations.
  • Independently manage large, complex projects that could involve SSO integration, customer network coordination, or redundancy configuration.
  • Lead/manage field logistics, deployment, and installations.
  • Work with account managers and sales engineers to seamlessly hand off projects from a pre-sales environment into a post-sales project plan.
  • Identify and escalate at-risk projects.
  • Create, maintain, and regularly update project related information in salesforce.com, confluence, and basecamp.
  • Assist with developing and refining best practices and standard operating procedure for project implementation.
  • Develop/maintain necessary work products for project planning and job costing (engineering cost estimates, equipment lists, and bid specifications, etc.).
  • Communicate with project stakeholders, partners, and end-users to ensure successful, on time project deployments.
  • Provide weekly status updates both internally and externally for all open projects.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency with project plans and Gantt charts.
  • Expertise with LAN/WAN video distribution technologies, internet infrastructure.
  • Experience with video wall ecosystems desirable
  • Understanding of AV Workflows, AV Networking, System Administration, and backend AV systems.
  • Knowledge Audio systems both analog and digital.
  • Video and Audio Conferencing (IP Video Distribution and VTC systems).
  • Networking experience and appropriate certifications are a plus.
  • CompTIA, Microsoft, or CCNA Certifications a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with a wide range of clients, team members, and business partners.
  • Detail-oriented and process driven.
  • Enthusiastic and buoyant, ability to work efficiently and effectively.
  • An effective delegator of tasks and responsibilities.
