Junior Business Systems Administrator

Job Summary:

As a member of our Business Systems team, you will be responsible for proactive support of our internal customers for several critical business systems such as Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Service Management, Team Central), Vonage CTI/IVR, Sage EPR, MS Teams, etc. You are a self-learner who is passionate about increasing the value of our systems through user adoption and alignment with business processes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep subject matter expertise of Haivision’s business processes and associated business system configurations through formal training, self-learning and active participation on the various product communities
  • Create and manage user accounts of various systems and serve as 1st Tier support for user inquiries
  • Log and track identified system problems through inception to resolution
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users.
  • Maintain awareness of new features and functionality and provide recommendations for improvements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • University degree in Management of Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration, or equivalent training/experience
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in IT or Business Administration
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and interactive when online
  • Experience administering Atlassian or Sage suite of products and assets
  • Basic understanding of IT and networking
  • Aptitude (Ability to learn new technologies quickly)
  • Troubleshooting (Ability to work through issues methodically)
  • Ability & willingness to properly document processes and assets
