We are seeking an experienced Account Executive (AE) with proven technical sales in the control room and operation center markets to drive sales and revenue via our trusted partner network for Haivision. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with proven technical sales experience in a high-level, complex sales environment focused on technology solutions in Enterprise and Public Safety control room applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to call on and work with Professional IT and Networking Integrators/Resellers to represent Haivision products within the control room and operation center industry.
  • Collaborate with clients and Integrators/Resellers to develop regionally focused business plans.
  • Consult with the VP of Sales in setting up objectives, goals and a plan of action for the region.
  • Develop, establish and maintain good working relationships with new and existing clients inside the territory.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and business plans for the region.
  • As a key member of the sales team, participate in weekly calls and meetings to help increase business and foster the Haivision culture within geographic region.
  • Become a Haivision brand champion, capable of demonstrating and explaining our products at least at a high-level to key decision makers.
  • Overall account management and territory responsibility for the region.
  • Remain knowledgeable and current with industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets, including competitive information.
  • Establish long-term relationships with end-user clients, resellers, and integrators.
  • Must be comfortable with a schedule of 25-50% travel within the region.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of technical sales experience in IP video, encoding and decoding technologies, advanced IP networking, or the control room market. Prior pre-sales experience would be ideal.
  • Strong technical background with experience in streaming video, unified communications, or control room / operation center industries.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate the advantages of Haivision products and strategy to senior executives as well as business and technical decision makers.
  • Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative and excellent time management skills.
  • Strong ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • A proven history of consistently exceeding sales and quota targets.
  • Self-motivator and able to work with rest of sales team and corporate headquarters to expand the business.
  • Ideal candidate will have managed or worked with both a direct and a channel-based model.
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of individuals both internal and external, from senior executives to technical decision makers.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English with the ability to clearly communicate and document complex technical issues is a must.

Technical Competencies:

  • Experience with the design and deployment of control room and operation center technologies.
  • Experience with network and computing security standards and best practices in government and civilian applications.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience managing and troubleshooting control room technologies and / or network media streaming solutions.
  • Familiarity with technical issues surrounding audio and video delivery over IP based networks.
