Record On Demand or On Schedule. The Furnace™ network video recorder (VF NVR) can be controlled by third party devices through its extensive REST-based API. Alternatively, recordings can be established for any scheduled live programming.
HotMarks™ - Metadata On-The-Fly. To add intelligence to asset libraries, users can apply HotMarks – real-time metadata as searchable annotations to the video stream, while recording. HotMarks can be applied through the user interface or over the recording API. The HotMarks are presents in both list form and as time-line marks while reviewing any VoD asset.
Channel Guide and VoD. InStream™ provides a full user interface for selecting live or playback channels (with real-time EPG updates) and for viewing VoD assets with frame accurate forward and reverse and access to HotMarks metadata.
Single or Multi-Channel. Whether the client is watching one or many streams, the VF Conditional Access module provides secure viewing to all streams on the network.
