The Makito™ family of high performance encoders and decoders delivers up to 1080p60 high definition H.264 video at incredible performance levels. Based on an ASIC technology and supported by a powerful programmable DSP, the Makitos combine the lowest latency with a very rich feature set to address the advanced needs of multi-use streaming, IPTV, secure video distribution, and live media management.
Highest Density. The Makito family is based on a low power mini-blade form factor. Makitos are available as compact stand-alone appliances, within ruggedized housings for airborne applications, within the highest density 6 slot 1RU chassis that is also available for medical grade and mobile applications, or within a convenient 21-slot 4RU rack mount chassis for head-end or video aggregation points.
