All Desktops & Displays. Haivision’s Furnace system reaches all computers and desktops with its patented InStream technology. With InStream every desktop video player and Stingray set top box are coordinated, authorized, and managed centrally giving administrators ultimate control of the media system. Enterprises can establish one media system that works across all platforms and requires absolutely no installation on client systems so there is no need for severe IT coordination for deployment. For the most rigorous challenge of video within a financial trading facility, the Furnace not only provides synchronizations between displays/STBs, but also allows desktops to be synchronized with the displays even if they are decoding a lighter bitrate stream.
Live TV. Haivision’s Furnace provides a detailed extension of the TV experience to the desktop. It is empowered with complete channel guide and program guide data. The InStream viewer is a stand-alone memory resident program that is not associated with any browser providing full HD performance. Finally, the Furnace provides 100% secure IP video, with AES encryption to adhere to any content guideline your bulk provider may require.
Video on Demand and User Management. With the Furnace users can also record centrally (network video recorder - VF NVR), establish scheduled playout channels, and provide video on demand. All of these services, as well as access to live content, can be assigned as user entitlements within the Furnace’s powerful Conditional Access module assuring that users can only see what they are authorized to see.
